Alternative dating has become a part of everybody’s life in this modern world. Today when everything has a new approach towards life how can dating be left behind? The older and the traditional way of dating does not hold much significance today because of the younger generation changing their views every now and then and it is not actually possible to stick to one person for the whole life. Earlier dating used to continue for years and finally the boy and girl used to land up as husband and wife promising a lifetime together. With the earlier dating pattern came a lot of commitments and expectations to each other. But this is not so commonly seen in the society today and it has been replaced by alternative dating to much extent.
Alternative dating provides you with complete liberty to fall in a relationship and quit it anytime you feel you cannot carry it forward. With the changing generations the thoughts of the people are also changing and they have a wider and broader opinion towards life and dating. 
Also the youth today do not want to commit themselves to a particular person. They do not like to be answerable for each and everything they do. They hate being questioned. Today every boy and girl wants to fall in a relationship just for the sake of spending time with each other and romancing. There are no serious commitments and promises in that relationship. You are totally free to do whatever you want without being answerable to your mate for anything. Who would not enjoy complete freedom in a relation? Such kind of a relationship is no longer a burden for anybody. You can walk off anytime you feel suffocated and congested.
Alternative dating also means dating two to three or even more people at a time where you are not serious towards anybody. It is done simply for mere pleasure and romance satisfaction. Not only boys but even girls today believe more in this type of dating style. This way the boys can escape the terror of their nagging and questioning girl friends while girls can keep away from following the do’s and don’ts instructions from their boyfriends. There no longer need to keep a check on each other. Both are saved from the agony and trauma of commitment.
Alternative dating is also possible in homosexuals as well. It only means satisfying yourself physically and there is no emotional bonding like in the traditional form of dating. These days only romance is in the mind when people look out for partners. A common practice for such romance is to find a partner through internet. People just spend some time together, have fun and then break up. The terms and conditions are set well in advance and there is no scope for flow of any emotions. You do not even have to go through the painful process of breaking up. Nobody is to be blamed for consequences, no reasoning required, and just simple quitting. Alternative dating has tremendously taken over the traditional form of dating today especially amongst youngsters.
